An April 29 gala celebrated this year’s award winners at Design ADAC in Atlanta. Katie Miner, ADAC’s general manager, along with judges Vicente Wolf, Michael G. Imber, and Veranda editor in chief Clinton Smith, awarded the distinctions. Amy Morris of Amy Morris Interiors won the Residential Designer of the Year award, and Stanley Dixon of D. Stanley Dixon Architect won Architect of the Year. The Contract Designer of the Year distinction was awarded to Dan Maas, Lucy Aiken-Johnson and Patrick Johnson of ai3.

“ADAC is honored to have had so many talented firms submit their projects for consideration. This accolade truly represents the highest level of design in the Southeast today,” said Miner. “We have such strict anonymity surrounding the submissions that it makes the judging process so much more impactful. The judges didn’t even know the names of the winners until [the gala], and that added to the excitement of the evening.”
