The Hollywood Reporter and Related are partnering to present a designer showhouse benefitting the Wallis Annenberg Center for the Performing Arts at The Century in Century City, CA. The showhouse coincides with the publication of THR’s first-ever Home Issue and "Top Interior Designers in Hollywood” list.

Participating interior designers and architects include Joan Behnke, Tim Clarke, Waldo Fernandez, Trip Haenisch, Jane Hallworth, Kathryn M. Ireland, Todd Nickey & Amy Kehoe of Nickey/Kehoe, David Phoenix and Marmol Radziner and Associates, as well as Robert A.M. Stern Architects, the firm which designed The Century.

The Hollywood-inspired showhouse takes place in two grand residences on the 20th floor of the 42-story residential masterpiece, each with its own private elevator vestibule and panoramic views that stretch from downtown Los Angeles, across the Hollywood Hills to the Pacific Ocean. Each room in the residence will let the visitor imagine they are stepping into the private space of a quintessential Hollywood icon such as an ingénue, screenwriter, high-powered director or A-list actor.

On October 24, a VIP event will kick off the THR Design Hollywood at The Century with honorary co-chairs,  Janice Min, THR editorial director, and Wallis Annenberg, philanthropist. Noted chef and restaurateur, David Myers, will be the official caterer of the evening and will provide guests with an exclusive preview of the dishes to come from his upcoming restaurant opening at The Century in December 2012.

“Covering the lifestyle of Hollywood is essential to the THR perspective,” said THR culture editor Degen Pener, who brought together the esteemed group of designers and architects participating in the showhouse.  “Los Angeles is not only one of the most glamorous cities in the world when it comes to residential design but it also serves as home to a uniquely creative community of designers. We're proud to partner with Related, renowned for its unparalleled dedication to superior design and architecture, and to welcome a select group of L.A.'s A-list designers as they create what will be a must-see showhouse at the elegant residential tower, The Century.”

The showhouse, located at One Century Drive, will be open to the public on Fridays 1 p.m. – 6 p.m. and Saturdays and Sundays 11 a.m. – 4 p.m. from Friday, October 26 – Sunday, November 18. Admission is $40 and all ticket sales will benefit the Wallis Annenberg Center for the Performing Arts, a new performing arts center in the historic Beverly Hills Post Office. Complimentary parking will be available at The Century.  For additional information and to purchase tickets, visit www.thr.com/designhollywood.

The showhouse is supported by many prestigious sponsors including Audi, Beacon Hill, Calvin Klein Home, Circa Lighting, Clos-ette, Environment Furniture, Farrow & Ball, Grace Home Furnishings, The Rug Company, SHOPBOP and Stark Carpet.
