## Design Assistant/Junior Designer

We are looking for a talented and enthusiastic Design Assistant/Junior Designer to join our growing team. You will work closely with the Principal and senior designers to develop creative solutions and manage a variety of exciting projects. This is a fantastic opportunity to gain experience in a fast-paced design environment and build a successful career in the industry.

**Responsibilities:**

* Collaborate with the design team to brainstorm and develop design concepts
* Oversee the project lifecycle, from proposals and purchase orders to vendor communication and final installation
* Manage project timelines and budgets
* Source and specify furniture, fixtures, equipment, and materials (FFE)
* Draft furniture plans, elevations, and custom furniture drawings
* Coordinate with vendors, shipping companies, and storage facilities
* Assist with client presentations and prepare samples
* Maintain the studio's sample library
* Participate in job site visits and meetings with clients, contractors, and subcontractors

**Qualifications:**

* 1-5 years of experience in architecture or interior design (minimum)
* Proficient in AutoCAD, SketchUp, Canva, Google Suite and Adobe Creative Suite is REQUIRED, Revit is a plus
* Strong written and verbal communication skills
* Ability to work independently and collaboratively
* Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
* Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
* Accredited design degree in interior design or architecture or a related college degree
