Job Description

A Senior Interior Designer is a highly experienced and skilled professional responsible for leading and managing interior design projects from conceptualization to completion. This role involves working closely with the principal, design director, clients, architects, contractors, vendors, and other team members to create innovative and functional interior spaces that meet the client's vision, budget, and timeline. The Senior Designer is also responsible for helping to nourish and manage junior talent. Base salaries are negotiated with consideration to experience. This job is primarily non-remote, with employees expected to work from the office at a minimum of 4 days a week.

Job Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
• Extensive experience (typically 5-10 years) in interior design, with a portfolio showcasing a range of completed projects.
• Proficiency in design software such as AutoCAD, SketchUp, Revit, Adobe Creative Suite, and 3D rendering tools.
• Proficiency in project management tools such as Studio Designer & Excel.
• Strong understanding of space planning, with knowledge in building codes, and construction processes.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
• Leadership and project management abilities, including budgeting and timeline management.
• A Senior Interior Designer plays a pivotal role in creating captivating and functional spaces that enhance the well-being and aesthetics of occupants. This position requires a blend of creativity, technical expertise, leadership, and effective communication to successfully execute design projects.
