Job Description

As we grow our team, we currently are seeking a new member for the role of Sales Assistant in our Dallas showroom.

Our Sales Assistant works diligently to support the sale of products in the assigned territory to clientele while maintaining a showroom presence in a full-time capacity.  We are seeking an enthusiastic individual who thrives in a team setting and is adept at supporting our territory’s daily operations. Your role will be pivotal in nurturing existing business relationships and forging new ones through outstanding customer service alongside our territory sales representative. You will also provide essential administrative support to our outside territory sales representative and showroom manager. The ideal candidate should be skilled in accurate communication, creating schedules, tracking data, accurate data entry and multi-tasking. An integral part of your job is to support the territory sales staff in a client interacting position to guarantee sales goals are being met.

Primary responsibilities include:

Oversee sample package processing and collateral distribution as needed
Handle telephone inquiries and assist showroom clients when in the showroom
Address CRM inquiries, such as order status, sampling, stock, and price checks
Generate quotes for territory representative
Monitor open order reports, follow up on payments, and confirm CFA status/approvals
Manage communications and inform clients about payment options and stock availability
Collect email addresses for the showroom account list and brand marketing initiatives
Ensure timely processing of incoming packages for territory distribution
Work and attend showroom events as needed
May involve local sales support in the field as needed

Job Requirements

Success in this position is achieved when individual(s) possess the following skill set:

Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal
Proficiency in MS Office suite
Familiarity with CRM, Project Management, and ERP Software
Diplomatic customer relationship management
Strong organizational skills
A background in Customer Service or Sales with extensive direct customer interaction (minimum 2 years)
A degree in Business, Marketing, Management, Communications, Finance, or equivalent work experience
Essential experience in the Interior Design field
