Design Intern needed for small Hospitality & Residential Interior Design Studio.
Hours will be flexible, part time and vary weekly.
Working hours to be in person at our Greenpoint location with potential for partial remote work.

The preferred candidate should demonstrate exceptional abilities in both written and oral communication, possess technical proficiency, and exhibit strong organizational skills alongside the ability to multitask effectively. The design intern role necessitates maintaining a consistently high standard of professionalism and discretion, particularly when handling confidential information. We prioritize candidates who are proactive, collaborative team players, capable of performing well with minimal oversight and trustworthy in all facets of business. Job Tasks:
Daily errands for projects
Library management
Sample Returns/Pick Ups/ Sourcing
Calling/Emailing vendors for pricing (quote requests), lead time, and order updates.
Entering product & order information into Studio Designer software.
Order tracking, time tracking & entry.
Requesting samples from vendors.
Client presentation set up on google slide.
Occasional site visits
Meeting minutes
Varied administrative tasks such as entering vendor information & pinning products to Pinterest.

Job Requirements:
Efficient time management
Self Starter with initiative
Knowledge of Word and Excel.
Strong organizational skills.
Ability to execute necessary daily tasks with minimal oversight.
Ability to communicate fluently in English, verbally and in writing, with clients, consultants and contractors, is essential.
Laptop & cellular device required for remote work.
Professional phone etiquette.
Positive attitude and self motivated.
Must be a US citizen and available to work in Greenpoint office.
