Job Description

We’re looking for a detail-oriented, results-driven, self-starter to oversee our client account/sales team, New York direct sales and our NYC showroom. This position is in-person five days a week (not remote) and based in our NYC showroom.

This person will:
• Lead ZAK+FOX New York sales strategy; develop annual strategic sales plan and execute approach
• Represent and promote ZAK+FOX brand and build strong relationships with New York interior designers
• Prospect and outreach to potential New York clients, introducing new product categories and
implementing outreach strategy for new collection launches
• Complete presentations at client offices and at the New York showroom
• Oversee New York showroom and related procedures, including creating a valuable client experience,
and guiding team to complete effective follow up post appointments
• Co-create sales strategy and drive sales in new product categories
• Manage ZAK+FOX New York City sales team, coach team members in account management and sales
approach
• Support all steps of the sales process from initiation to close, including entering sales into software system
• Facilitate ongoing improvement of internal sales processes to achieve increased efficiencies
• Generate weekly, monthly, and quarterly sales metrics; document key insights and use data to coach team
members and leadership on sales opportunities
• Guide team in effective communication and problem-solving
• Facilitate resolution of client concerns and coach team on how to address customer service issues
• Partner closely with the operations team to streamline sales fulfillment processes
• Understand ZAK+FOX brand story and embody it in relationships with account partners
• Travel to key New York accounts and lead sales calls
• Represent ZAK+FOX at local NYC events in the interior design industry

Job Requirements

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
• Minimum 8-10 years of sales and/or account management experience
• Minimum 5+ years of managing people
• Reporting and data analysis
• Keen interest and/or prior experience in interior design community
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and ability to quickly learn new technology
• Professional demeanor through all forms of communication
• Willingness to travel
• Ability to collaborate – we like teamwork

Salary base + bonus commensurate with experience
