Job Description

We are seeking a full-time summer intern with high-end residential interior design experience, with the possibility to continue part time beyond the summer.
This position will be full-time in our Tribeca office to collaborate with the design team. We need someone who is New York based and is comfortable participating in job site visits and installations in the Hudson Valley, CT, and more. This position requires participation in multiple, simultaneous projects. This role includes involvement in the following, but is not limited to: reviewing project strategies, participating in the organization and tracking of tasks, assistance with FF&E sourcing, and communication with vendors, and if necessary, contractors, and clients.

Job Requirements

Responsibilities will include but are not limited to:
- Candidates must have a strong work ethic, be self-motivated, extremely organized, and a team player with a willingness to learn
- Candidates must have a degree in Interior Design or be working towards one and/or experience working in high-end or commercial design
- Must be willing to work in-office, and commit to a weekly schedule
- Experience with furniture, lighting, and textile sourcing in NYC
- Overseeing deliveries and assisting with installations
- Administrative tasks (running errands, collecting/returning vendor samples, sorting/organizing sample library)
- Ability to produce floor plans, elevations, and detail drawings using AutoCAD.
- Ability to produce Photoshop renderings
- Proficient in Microsoft Office programs (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, Sketchup and Adobe Photoshop and InDesign
- Experience with Studio Webware a plus
- A license to drive a plus
