Job Description

In this muti-faceted inside/outside sales position you will act as a brand ambassador within the interior design industry while selling to Architects and Interior Designers as well as upper-high-net worth end user clients. You will be responsible for prospecting new accounts and setting appointments to present our line to architects, designers and final clients while utilizing our NYC Showroom.

Emphasis on project development. Reports to the National Sales Director.

Key Responsibilities
• Sales. 30% inside | 70% outside
• Research potential clients and prospect new accounts
• Set appointments and prepare and give tailored presentations
• Ability to build sales and meet sales goals
• Ability to create long-lasting industry relationships
• Ability to multi-task among large complex sales while providing excellent customer service
• Ability to read and translate design drawings (floorplans and basic construction drawings)
• Coordinate international and local shipping of client’s orders

Experience Requirements
• Minimum 5 years’ experience in sales
• Luxury A&D Sales preferred, but not required. We are willing to train luxury sales professionals from other industries. All
experienced salespeople are encouraged to apply.

Job Requirements

• Excellent attention to detail, organization and communication skills
• Existing network of industry contacts in NYC and the Tri State Area is required
• Ability to work as a team, but also work autonomously when needed
• Ability to travel both domestically and internationally
• Must be comfortable in a fast-paced, deadline driven environment on multiple projects
• Experience with luxury goods sales (art, fashion, automotive, fabric, furniture, etc.)
• Polished appearance and professional demeanor is required

• Experience with CRM and invoicing programs such as Lightspeed, Salesforce or QuickBooks (preferred,
but not required)
• Ability to effectively manage cross-cultural communication
• Proficient in MS Excel, Office, Word
• Proficiency in English (Spanish and/or Italian is a bonus, but not required)
