Job Description

Nationally recognized interior design firm seeks a highly motivated full-time interior designer passionate about distinguished residential design.

-Develop creativity, new ideas, processes, and skills to eventually lead projects
-Create relationships with industry partners, artisans, and workrooms
-Strong commitment to client service and experience

Job Requirements

Primary responsibilities include working with project managers and principal on all phases of design projects, including but not limited to:
-Assist in the creation of design concepts, space planning, architectural elements, schemes, and custom elements of projects
-Assist in developing supporting documentation for various projects: drawings, presentation boards, packets, schedules, transmittals, etc.
-Assist in preparation for client presentations
-Assist in gathering quotations from vendors and contractors
-Work on multiple projects simultaneously, exercising strong time management skills

Qualifications and Skills
The ideal candidate for this role will have the following experience and capabilities:
-Bachelor’s degree in Interior Design or Interior Architecture, 0-5 years
-Computer skills: Autodesk Suite, Adobe Suite, Microsoft 365
-Must have a positive attitude and be a good team player
-Excellent written and verbal communication skills
-Organized and detail oriented
-Possess strong interpersonal skills
-Maintain a professional demeanor, polished appearance, as well as exercise appropriate decorum with vendors
-Possess a strong understanding of discretion and clients’ privacy, contractors and other partners
