DorianBahr an award winning design firm, seeks a Interior Architectural Design Assistant/Junior Designer to work alongside our Lead Designers & Project Managers on residential design projects. This is a fantastic opportunity for the right person.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Preparation of client presentations (Space planning, printing, pricing, and organizing)
Maintain an updated interiors and architectural library including electronic library
Keep up with New Product sourcing
Reviewing client orders and specifications
Reviewing custom products including, hardware, finishes, type of wood, windows, doors interior/exterior materials
Following up with vendors on orders and lead times
Handle CFAs and RMA & strike offs
Residential Space Planning, As-Built's, Construction Documents; lighting/electrical plans,mechanical/plumbing, elevations, sections, details, specs and construction notes
MUST be able to create and visualize high architectural detailing
Product quoting/pricing
Coordinate and manage various tasks alongside project manager & lead designer
Communication with clients and vendors

AutoCAD, Revit (REQUIRED)
3D Max, Sketchup or Studio Designer and/or Photoshop (a plus)
Strong detail orientation
Excellent people management skills and team player
Enthusiastic, positive, whatever-it-takes attitude
Residential design experience
Space planning experience
Strong oral, written, and organizational skills
Ability to HAND and digitally sketch
Ability to multitask in fast-paced environment
Excellent problem solving skills and resourcefulness
2-4 yrs experience in residential design and construction
