The Designer is an important and formative role at Jeremiah Brent Design. You will be assisting the Project Manager in all aspects of our projects in addition to any requests the Design Directors and/or Jeremiah may have.
You will be given tasks by the Senior Project Manager, to which you will be responsible for from start to finish under the guidance of the Senior Project Manager.
You’ll work hand-in-hand with the Senior Project Manager to execute tasks. The Designer will help with project coordination, delivering all deliverables on time, within budget, and surpassing a client’s expectations.
A Designer demonstrates strong organizational skills, forward thinking, and plays a strong supportive role. A Designer is a team player, this person is incredibly flexible and willing to do whatever it takes to produce excellent work.
This role is suited for designers with 3-5 years of experience.
Your tasks include, but are not limited to:
Provide Direct Assistance To The Senior Project Manager In All Project-Related Tasks
Source Finish Samples And Assist In Developing Finish Palettes
Generate Ideation on Projects as requested by Jeremiah and Design Director
Request Quotes, Invoices, And Receipts As Needed
Creating Proposals for merchandise as requested by Senior Project Manager
Review CFA’s, Shop Drawings, And Conduct Physical Inspections Under The Senior Project Manager's Guidance
Source Furniture And Fixtures For Various Projects
Monitoring Order Tracking, Order Status & Maintaining Updated information
Attending Site visit, as appropriate and Organize Client and Project Notes
Create And Revise Floor Plans As Directed By The Senior Project Manager Or Design Director, Using Autocad And/Or Sketchup
Assisting in File Management for Project-related material
Assisting In Developing Client Presentation Decks
Assisting in coordinating Final Furniture Installations under Senior Project Manager’s direction
Designer possess the following skills:
AutoCAD proficiency
Sketchup proficiency
Studio Designer proficiency
Google Suite
Photoshop proficiency
Clear Communication Skills Internally and Externally
Designers are required to:
Work a full time (40 hr work week)
Be available to work in-office / on site (non-remote position)
Travel for projects both domestic and international
Valid Driver’s License
