May’s can’t-miss design events

As the weather warms up next month, design industry events are showing out in full force. Read on for BOH’s monthly calendar highlights, including conferences, trade shows, showhouses and design discussions.

The Adler On The Park Showcase House for Charity
Chicago | May 1–30
For this designer showcase, Chicago’s top interior designers have been tapped to reimagine the luxury residences at 2700 N. Lakeview—a landmark property built between 1915 and 1917 by lauded architects Henry Corwith Dangler and David Adler to house their fellow artists, architects and designers living in the city. With two of the building’s residences up for sale, the temporarily redesigned spaces will be open to the public for the month of May, with proceeds to benefit the Big Shoulders Fund and Thresholds charities.
