It takes two: The latest design collaborations

Discover the most recently released collections from designers and retailers who are partnering on a selection of products, from trims and fabrics to high-end bath and kitchen accents.

Kerry Joyce and Sunbrella

Kerry Joyce has introduced Performance Trim Collection for fall 2015, made from trims woven in Sunbrella’s 100% Solution Dyed Acrylic fiber and designed for both indoor and outdoor use. The line coordinates with Joyce’s Performance textiles, and is available in 39 colors and in 1/8-inch Kerry Cord, 1/4-inch Classic Cord, 3/8-inch Riviera Cord, 1-1/2-inch Café Brush Fringe and 2-inch Chelsea Brush Fringe options.

Antonio Citterio and Axor

Architect/designer Antonio Citterio has partnered with Axor to develop the brand’s first line of accessories, Axor Universal Accessories, which includes handles, bars and shelf elements for the bath and kitchen. “Accessories have a significant effect on the overall appearance of a room; they are an essential part of its decor. When I design something, I strive to create products that are both functional and aesthetically pleasing. For instance, bars inside the shower function as a support for other accessories and serve as towel bars outside the shower,” says Citterio.

Citterio and Axor have also recently released the Axor Citterio E collection, a line of faucets and shower components, including the Hansgrohe Select Thermostat technology, which provides separate control of the hand shower and showerhead. 

Kvadrat and Patricia Urquiola, Finn Sködt, Anne Fabricius Møller

Kvadrat is premiering new textiles for its 2016 collections featuring collaborations with designers Patricia Urquiola, Finn Sködt and Anne Fabricius Møller. The five new textiles include Memory 2, a tactile upholstery designed by Urquiola; Pro 3 and Star 2, two classic upholsteries with a contemporary look by Sködt; and Ginger 2, an open-weave curtain by Møller.

Ann Gish and Global Views

Global Views has signed a new licensing agreement with Ann Gish. Designer Gish has designed bedding for 25 years and will now develop a furniture collection, including floor screens and bedroom and living room pieces. “We are thrilled to be working with Ann,” said David Gebhart, CEO of Global Views. “It is always a pleasure to work with talented people who can create products that complement and enhance what we are known for.”
