From December 2 to 6, DIFFA’s Gift for Life Holiday Pop-Up Shop will offer accessories and home decor gifts in the Siegel & Stockman showroom at 126 West 25th Street. Designers donated the items to benefit Design Industries Foundations Fighting AIDS (DIFFA). Featured designers include Baccarat, diptyque, Jonathan Adler, Kenneth Cole, Kravet and West Elm, among others.
During last month’s Iron Design Challenge, organized by the New York chapter of Retail Design Institute (RDI), students from Fashion Institute of Technology and LIM College designed the pop-up space.
“The pop-up shop is a great way for DIFFA and Gift for Life to bring its critical message to a wider audience. We are thankful to more than 30 designers and manufacturers who contributed toward a great cause by donating their products. We are so proud to have partnered with RDI to offer this pop-up shop, which allows people to buy gifts for the holidays while making a difference,” said DIFFA executive director Johanna Osburn.
The Gift for Life Holiday Pop-Up Shop kicks off on World AIDS Day, with an opening reception on December 1, from 6 to 9 p.m.
The shop’s hours are:
