On Wednesday evening, industry guests gathered at the Christofle flagship showroom on Madison Avenue in New York City to view a special tabletop display created by fashion designers Mark Badgley and James Mischka.

The tablescape, themed "A Wedding Celebration," featured a combination of contemporary and tradtional pieces including Marley stemware, Vertigo candlesticks and Albi flatware by Christofle, as well as Leontine Linens by Jane Scott Hodges.

“When we had our horse farm in Lexington, Kentucky, we were always inspired by fresh, classic tablescapes with beautiful flowers," said Badgley. "It is very romantic, very feminine, but simple at the same time. That was the balance we were trying to get."

The tablescape also featured one of Badgley and Mischka's famed wedding gowns. "It is one of our most elaborate and most aspirational gowns and we wanted to feature it here at Christofle," said Mischka. "Pistols inspired the monograms on the napkins and the flower arrangements by Zeze uses many southern flowers.”

“I think a beautiful table is about the most luxurious thing," said Goodman. "It’s about friendship and sharing it with friends. It signals warmth and love and great things to come. I think this tablescape is exactly what you want to see."
