Luxury kitchen and bathroom brand Boffi has merged with furniture design company De Padova. Boffi acquired 100 percent of De Padova’s assets, while Luca De Padova acquired 7.5 percent of Boffi, becoming its second main shareholder.

Roberto Gavazzi

Luca De Padova is the president of De Padova and the vice president of Boffi, officially joining the board of directors. The CEO of both Boffi and De Padova is Roberto Gavazzi, who will provide operational guidance for both companies.

“The union with Boffi will further increase growth and development for De Padova worldwide within the design industry, where Italy is considered as market leader,” said Luca De Padova. “Thanks to a partner with a strong distribution network we will have higher visibility with new exhibiting spaces, which are ever more difficult to achieve.”

Both Italian heritage brands can now produce products that are more integrated and interlinked for all living spaces, from bathrooms and bedrooms to kitchens and storage systems. Upholstered items and accessories will also be available.

“The alliance with De Padova is an important example of how two Italian companies are able to take on new global challenges together by creating an ambitious project of growth in a stable balance of resources and skills,” said Gavazzi.
