In addition to Wearstler, a dozen winners will be chosen across the categories of Residential Interior Design (more than 3,000 s.f.), Residential Architecture (more than 3,000 s.f.), Residential Interior Design (less than 3,000 s.f.), Residential Architecture (less than 3,000 s.f.), Landscape Design, New Product Design, Kitchen & Bath Design, Showcase House, Room of the Year, Commercial Architecture and Emerging Designers.

More than 400 industry guests are expected to attend the gala, where Wearstler will accept her award and the design winners will be announced. The party begins at 6:00 p.m. at the San Francisco Design Center's Galleria Atrium. Guests will be greeted with the unveiling of the spring issue of California Home+Design, cocktails, light bites and a silent auction.
