On April 14, during High Point Market, Bernhardt hosted a springtime celebration of its newest designs for outdoor living. Co-hosted by Luxe Interiors & Design, the event was also a chance for industry colleagues to meet Jill Cohen, the title’s new editor in chief. Guests enjoyed outdoor-inspired edibles, lemon drop cocktails and music by DJ RaQuest.
As part of the festivities, Bernhardt held several drawings for enviable warm-weather prizes. Victoria Sandberg with Toni Sims Design Studio in Winter Garden, Florida, won a trip for two to Todos Santos on the Pacific coast of Mexico’s Baja peninsula. Judith Seeherman, mother of Kimberly Seeherman, principal with Hudson and Nine in New York, was the lucky recipient of a beautiful setting of Bernhardt Exteriors furnishings. And Yianni Kefalianos from Yanni Custom Furniture and Design in Boardman, Ohio, scored a set of outdoor speakers.
Alex Bernhardt Jr., Alex Bernhardt Sr. and Heather Eidenmiller from Bernhardt, along with Cohen, Kate Abney and Kate Kelly Smith from Luxe, greeted the more than 600 attendees.
“We were thrilled to partner with Luxe for this incredible event,” said Bernhardt Jr. “It was a special night, because we were also able to welcome Jill to High Point and to her new role at Luxe. We’re excited to see what she has in store for the publication.”
